LinkPoint for Android · Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains what the LinkPoint puzzle game ("the app") collects, why, who handles it, and how to have it deleted. LinkPoint is made by an independent developer ("we", "us"). You can reach us at tanthanhkaka01@dbabrain.dev.
In short
- There is no sign-up. The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal details.
- To run the leaderboards, the app gets a random player number and a made-up name such as "Player 4821". It is not linked to your Google account or your phone number.
- The app has no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking. We do not sell or share your data.
- The app is fully playable offline. When your device is offline, nothing is sent.
What we collect and why
| Data | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player record | A random player number, a secret key (we store only its hash), the made-up player name, the platform (Android or iOS) and the date it was created. | To keep your scores and show them on the leaderboards. |
| Game progress and scores | Which levels you finished, which you finished perfectly (★), the points you earned and when. | To compute your score and rank on the daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards. |
| App reports | Short reports when the app is installed, starts a new version or downloads new content: the app version, the operating system name, the number of level packs, the names of downloaded files and the time on your device. | To check that updates and new levels reach players correctly. |
| Technical data | Your IP address, the time and the address requested, as seen by any web server. | To deliver content, keep the service secure and fix problems. |
What is public
Your made-up player name and your scores are shown to other players on the leaderboards. Nothing else is shown.
What stays on your device
Your settings, your progress, your player number and key, hint counts and up to 30 unsent app reports are saved in the app's private storage on your device. Downloaded levels are stored there too. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes all of it.
Who handles the data
- Cloudflare delivers our website, the downloadable levels and the connection to our server.
- Oracle Cloud runs our server and database, located in Singapore.
They process the data only to provide these services to us. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country.
How long we keep it
We keep your player record, progress, scores and app reports while the leaderboard service runs, or until you ask us to delete them. Server logs with technical data are kept only for a short time for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting your data
Email tanthanhkaka01@dbabrain.dev with your player name, shown on the Leaderboards screen, and we will delete your player record, progress, scores and reports from our server within 30 days. The "Reset progress" setting in the app clears your progress on the device only.
Purchases
The app does not sell anything today. If we add purchases later, payments will be handled by Google Play, and we will update this policy before that happens.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Your player key is stored on our server only as a hash, and the levels the app downloads are signed so that they cannot be changed on the way.
Children
The app does not ask anyone, of any age, for personal information, and it has no chat or other way for players to contact each other.
This website
This website, game.dbabrain.dev, keeps a server-side log of each visit (IP address, approximate location, network, browser, the page visited and the page that linked here) to understand its traffic. The log is stored with Cloudflare. The website sets no cookies, runs no scripts, and nothing is shared or sold.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app uses data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
